Skills are special abilities used by cards in battle. The effects vary depending on the card. Some common skill effects include boosts to front line attacks, decrease in opponent front line defenses, and elemental boosts. Skills affect both the front line and the back line of either player, but only front line cards can activate skills in battle.
Skills are generally restricted only to Rare and Ultra Rare cards, though there are some Common cards which possess skills.
Just like a card’s regular level, a card’s skill also has levels. Similarly, skills may be upgraded through the act of Enhancing a maximum of 9 times for a total level of 10. As skill level increases, so does the chance of that skill activating. Skill effectiveness also increases as level increases. As well, even after a card has reached its maximum level, a card’s skill level can still be enhanced up to the tenth level.
Only enhancer cards with skills have a realistic chance of enhancing another cards skill level, though on occasion non-skilled Common cards can in fact enhance skill levels. The odds of this happening are quite low however, and such an occurrence is considered extremely rare.
A card’s skill level can also be increased through enhancing. This is accomplished by using cards with skills, such as skilled Common cards or Rare (or Ultra Rare) cards, as the enhancer card. Due to the rarity of certain cards, it is usually impractical to use Ultra Rare or strong Rare cards as a skill enhancer. Most often, “Junk Rares” are used for this purpose. It should be noted that a cards skill level can still be enhanced even after the card has reached its maximum level. As skill level of the base card increases, the effect of the skill chance diminishes. It is said that small chance of leveling (~1%) still exists when common cards with no skill are used. Some higher skill level cards may exploit this small probability by enhancing numerous small steps using large number of common cards.
The following tables show the “Skill Up Chance” when enhancing a card skill Level 1 with an other skilled card.
(h) -> hypothetical.

It is worth noting too that the skill level of the sacrificed card will affect the Skill Up Chance. A card sacrificed of skill level 2 will have a higher chance to level up the skill of a card than a card with skill level 1. From this chart it looks like the Skill Up Chance formula would be :
SkillUpChance % = 1/2 + (2/3)^(ED_Skill_lvl-1)*(1-ER_Stars)/10 – round(ED_Stars/2)
ED = Ehanced Card
ER = Ehancer Card.
The only parameter not taken into account is the ER Skill level. This formula was based on it being 1.
